The Kennel
When the breeding females are nearing their delivery date, they are moved to the whelping shed for some rest and relaxation. The floor under the pens is always heated and heating lamps are added overhead for young pups. In the heat of the summer, the kennel is air conditioned.

This part of the kennel houses the adult breeding dogs. Each run has a separate door with a window allowing natural light into the kennel. It also affords visitors the opportunity to see and interact with the parent dogs of the pups.
The dogs have an entrance flap which helps keep the extreme temperatures out of kennel. The floor of the runs are made from the same plastic coated drywall found inside the kennel - a comfortable surface for the dogs and one of the most efficient to sanitize.
